Our history
Officine Vecchi was founded in 1909 by Arnaldo Vecchi and specialised in machinery and components for the textile industry. Despite many difficulties and harsh times of this era, the quality of its work is what allowed the Vecchi family to expand the workshop employing 70 operators and technical staff.
In 1959 his son, Antonio Vecchi used his entrepreneurial skills to expand the processing department and viewed in the production of gears and special reduction gears an exceptionally interesting niche market. A winning move that allowed the workshop to be recognised as a reference firm for these components which can be researched and tailor made to suit all different sectors: from the food industry to steel works, from earth movement to plastics. Each sector has its own specific drawbacks and, thanks to its vast experience, the Officine Vecchi is capable of manufacturing machinery and special parts specially researched to meet the specific demands of every customer. Today, four generations later, the experience and same passion as before is placed at the disposal of its customers.
